Assalamualaikum w.b.t. and Greetings to All Parents and Guardians.
Following the announcement by the Ministry of Education (MOE) regarding the current situation, Alhamdulillah, face-to-face learning will resume on Tuesday, 8 September 2026, subject to the indicators outlined in the accompanying infographic.
All year levels will return to face-to-face learning; however, this arrangement remains subject to prevailing air quality conditions and the School’s safety measures and advisories.
As we welcome our students back to school, we kindly seek the cooperation of all parents, guardians, and students in adhering to the necessary health and safety measures in line with the School’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
LATEST MOE UPDATE(as per Monday, 7 Sept and memo attached)
1. Air Quality Monitoring and PSI Updates
The school will continue to closely monitor the Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) readings and will implement the necessary measures in accordance with MOE and relevant authority guidelines should air quality conditions deteriorate.
In the event of a significant increase in PSI readings, parents and guardians will be informed of any adjustments to learning arrangements or school activities.
Parents and guardians are also advised to remain updated on the latest PSI readings and weather advisories at all times to support informed decisions regarding their child’s well-being.
2. Afternoon Lessons for Upper Secondary
For this week only, afternoon lessons will continue for Year 10F and Year 11 students.
Year 9F students may have afternoon lessons upon arrangement of Subject Teachers.
Further updates regarding afternoon lessons for subsequent weeks will be communicated when necessary.
3. Dismissal Arrangements
During dismissal, those students without afternoon classes are required to remain indoors in their designated waiting areas or classrooms until their parent, guardian, or authorised transport has arrived within the school premises.
Students should avoid waiting outdoors unnecessarily.
It is a reminder to all that there might be slight traffic and congestion due to the dismissal of TASKA and Primary Section simultaneously.
IMPORTANT REMINDER
- Students are encouraged to wear face masks while on school premises, particularly those sensitive to haze.
- Outdoor activities, including morning assemblies, will remain suspended until further notice, and students will remain indoors as much as possible.
- Parents and guardians are advised to ensure students bring any required medication.
We sincerely appreciate everyone’s continued cooperation and support in helping to keep our students and school community safe.
Thank you for your kind attention and cooperation.
