Attention all students of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Secondary School. Your Mid Year Examinations begin this Monday, 27 April 2026. To ensure a smooth and successful examination period, you must strictly adhere to the following regulations:
DRESS CODE & PERSONAL BELONGINGS
- Sports Attire: Due to current hot weather, you are permitted to wear sports attire throughout the entire examination period.
- No Layers: Jumpers and cardigans are not allowed to be worn during the exam.
- Bags & Refreshments: All bags, food, and drinks must be placed at the back of the classroom.
- Water Bottles: If you bring a water bottle into the exam area, it must be transparent.
STATIONERY & GADGETS
- Transparent Cases: All pencil cases must be transparent. If your case is opaque, you must remove your stationery and leave the case in your bag.
- Calculators: Remove all calculator covers before the examination begins.
- Electronics: Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, and earbuds/earpieces must be turned off and placed on the teacher’s desk before the start of the session.
EXAMINATION ROOM PROTOCOL
- Seating: You must sit according to the official seating arrangement prepared by your class teacher.
- Desk Check: Ensure your table drawer is facing the invigilator. Drawers must be completely empty, and there must be no scribbles on the desk surface.
- Toilet Breaks: Permitted only after the first 15 minutes of the exam have passed. You are required to sign the toilet log.
