This coming Monday, 14th April 2025, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Secondary School will be celebrating Plant Appreciation Day during all English classes across all year levels! Plants are more than just decorations — they purify our air, improve our mental well-being, and play a crucial role in supporting life on Earth. Taking time to appreciate them helps us reconnect with nature, reduce stress, and understand the importance of caring for our environment.
We invite all students to bring a plant to school — whether it’s potted, hanging, or a small sprout in a jar. Teachers are more than welcome to join in too! Activities will take place during your regular English periods, and while classes will run as normal, they’ll be filled with a touch of green and reflection. Let’s fill our classrooms with life and celebrate the plants that support us every day!
