In conjunction with Patriotic and Identity Week, YSHHB Secondary School, organized by the Malay, Humanities, Art and Physical Education Departments, will be conducting a National Costume Competition inspired by the colours of the Brunei Darussalam flag. This competition aims to foster patriotism, strengthen national identity, and encourage creativity while appreciating Brunei Darussalam’s heritage and values.
Event: National Costume Competition – Colours of the Brunei Darussalam Flag
Participants: All Secondary School Students (Year 7–11)
Theme: Colours and symbolism of the Brunei Darussalam National Flag
Task for the Competition:
Participants are required to design and wear a national costume inspired by the colours of the Brunei Darussalam flag. Designs should reflect patriotism, cultural identity, and creativity, while maintaining modesty, appropriateness, and respect for national and MIB values.
