To maintain a safe, respectful and focused learning environment, the school is reinforcing its expectations on mobile phones, personal devices and responsible digital behaviour.
Year 7 & 8
Students are not permitted to bring any personal digital device to school, including mobile phones, tablets or laptops. Where digital resources are required, students will use the Computer Lab or school-provided facilities/devices. Digital work may also be completed using available devices at home.
Year 9 – 11
Mobile phones must be switched off and kept in the designated storage area during lessons and restricted times. Phones may only be used when specifically permitted by a teacher. For learning activities, a laptop or tablet is recommended.
Unauthorised mobile phone use will be recorded and managed according to school disciplinary procedures.
In the event of an emergency or urgent matter during school hours, Parents/Guardians should contact the Class Teacher or School Administration Office.
Students are also reminded to use Artificial Intelligence ethically and responsibly. AI should support learning — never be used to harm others, violate privacy, create inappropriate or misleading content, or present AI-generated work dishonestly as your own.
