Assalamualaikum w.b.t and greetings to all parents and guardians,
Kindly be informed that Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Secondary School will be organising the ‘Projek Kongsi Rezeki: Sedekah Ramadhan 1446H/2025M’. The objective of this program is to raise awareness within the school community and foster a sense of compassion and responsible citizenship while giving charity in the blessed month of Ramadhan. Through this program, we hope to alleviate the burdens of underprivileged families and in their preparation for Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
It is also a part of the Community Outreach Program for YSHHB Secondary School where we can instill a strong spirit of empathy and volunteerism within the school community and to always be grateful for the blessings that Allah SWT has given. As part of the project, the school would like to welcome the parents / guardians of YSHHB School to make contribution for the aforementioned program.
Contributions needed will be collected based on levels.
- YEAR 7: RICE
- YEAR 8: INSTANT NOODLES / BISCUITS
- YEAR 9: OIL / SALT / SUGAR / CHILLI SAUCE / SOYA SAUCE
- YEAR 10: CANNED FOODS
- YEAR 11: CORDIAL DRINKS / INSTANT COFFEE AND TEA MIX / MILO
Donation in the form of money can also be given by filling in the form that will be given to the students through the class teachers. Kindly fill in the relevant form for donations of orphan OR the underprivileged family.
- Donation period: 17 February – 3 March 2025
- In Kind Donation Drop Off: Main gate, YSHHB Secondary School (7.30am – 3pm)

Pahala sedekah walaupun hanya sedikit itu akan terus berkembang pahalanya hingga menjadi besar. Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda:
إنَّ اللهَ يقبلُ الصدقةَ ، ويأخذُها بيمينِه ، فيُرَبِّيها لِأَحَدِكم ، كما يُرَبِّي أحدُكم مُهْرَه ، حتى إنَّ اللُّقْمَةَ لَتَصِيرُ مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ
“Sesungguhnya Allah menerima amalan sedekah dan mengambilnya dengan tangan kanan-Nya. Lalu Allah mengembangkan pahalanya untuk salah seorang dari kalian, sebagaimana kalian mengembangkan seekor anak kuda. Sampai-sampai sedekah yang hanya sebiji bisa berkembang hingga sebesar gunung Uhud”
